We support Australian independent artists and play over 40% Australian music everyday. 10% of all music you hear on Edge is Tasmanian!

With over 60 shows each week and over 100 volunteer presenters, we aim to make radio for our listeners, our COMMUNITY.

We bring you The Falls Festival replay every year; we webstream live 24/7; we provide a forum for people to share their opinions and music; we provide opportunities for people like YOU that want to learn radio, burgeoning journalists, college aged students, extroverts and shy people; we support local events and community activities. If something's happening in Hobart, chances are, we were there at the grassroots level.

Your support means we can focus on making radio, not money

We are fiercely independent and proud of it - we do what we do with a team of very passionate volunteers.

We don't receive monetary support from the Governmen tfor operational costs and we rely on the support of local businesses (sponsors) and people like YOU to keep us on the airwaves. (Despite the occasional misconception, we are NOT a University-funded station).

Supporter fees allow us to improve our service to all listeners through programming and community events development.
