Hi everyone! My name is Annie and I’ve been volunteering at Edge Radio for just over a year now. I am studying a Bachelor of Arts at UTAS and planning to major in both Journalism, Media & Communications and Music History. Oh and I also believe that video will never kill the radio star.

Look, nothing is more frustrating than to be asked to define your favourite music. If you’re anything like me, you’ll find it nearly impossible to narrow it down to a genre or style. I think the best kinds of music are the songs that travel from head to toe. It is the music that gets stuck on repeat in your head, which then eventually makes its way down to your tapping feet. And it’s at that point you find yourself incapable of NOT dancing to that sweet tune or bass hook. That is music.

On this year’s Winter Schedule I will be hosting the Edge Radio Recommends show every Wednesday 4-5pm. Be sure to tune in to hear the latest music on Edge, handpicked and guaranteed to blow your mid week blues away! Dancing will be compulsory.
